This is Boker's reissue from the original design of the Applegate-Fairbairn Combat Knife made in Solingen, Germany. It was designed for the O.S.S. to correct all the faults of the commando daggers being used during WWII, and it’s a pure fighting knife. The grip is virtually indestructible fiberglass-reinforced Delrin with integrated stainless steel weights.
The full tang blade is from very tough 440C bead-blasted steel with a Rockwell hardness of 58 HRC. The brass guard is also bead-blasted. The backside of the blade is flat for lightness. Modern Kydex sheath and large Tek-Lok are included. Incredibly well-balanced and lively in the hand.
