An impressive survival knife in the spirit of the knife that first appeared in a 1980's movie about a misunderstood VietNam veteran. The powerful Bowie blade, made of stainless and shock-elastic 7Cr17MoV steel, is coated in black and features an exaggerated backsaw. The solid handle is made of indestructible FRN. Thanks to the additional rubber coating, the non-slip handle is easy to grip even in wet conditions and the large guard provides a strong surface to push against. Holes in the guard allow the knife to be fixed with string, wire, cable ties, or fabric adhesive tape, so that it can also be used as a makeshift spear, for example.
The black synthetic sheath makes its own unique contributions to the whole package; it includes an integrated compass and a flint and fire striker. Multiple lash points for a wide range of fastening possibilities on clothing and equipment thanks to numerous openings. The belt loop is designed with an integrated clip.
