Shikoto Tigerwood Katana

Tigerwood (also known as Brazilian Koa, Congo wood, African Walnut, Courbaril, Bototo, Zorrowood, and Muiracatiara) is a warm wood with a beautiful contrasting striped grain. This is a full-tang katana with a hand-forged, T10 carbon steel blade. The habaki is brass and is engraved with a Han character. The Tigerwood handle scales are attached with large brass pins, and the tsuba is iron with gold-gilded swords. The matching Tigerwood scabbard also has gold accents and brown cotton cord-wrapping.
