The Sword of Catholic Kings from
Marto of Spain is a LIMITED EDITION reproduction of the great sword kept in the Real Armeria in Madrid. Made in the 15th century, during the reign of Ferdinand II of Aragon, and used on court occasions until the 18th century. With this sword, the Catholic Monarchs knighted Christopher Columbus on his return from his first voyage to America. This ceremonial sword was used as the symbol of royal power in all religious and political ceremonies. From the Heroes and Civilizations collection, this sword is limited to 1500 pieces worldwide!
This stunning ceremonial replica has a fully tempered AISI 440 stainless steel blade with 24K gold etchings. The pommel and guard are cast metal with a 24K gold plated finish and the grip is leather wrapped in wire. Decorative use only.
